Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with Community Education Partnerships and
in making a difference in the life of a Bay Area student who has experienced homelessness or housing instability!
CEP is now accepting application for in-person and virtual tutors. To be a tutor you must be:
  • 16 or older. Minor tutors are required to have a parent or guardian go through the application process with them.
  • A California resident and willing to complete a Live Scan background check and Mandated Reporter Training.
  • Able to commit at least one hour per week to tutoring for at least six months.
  • If volunteering in-person, you must be fully vaccinated and willing to adhere to all safety protocols .
Become a Volunteer Tutor
Not ready to start tutoring? Here are some of the many other ways you can help:
  • Organize a school supply drive or a book drive at work, in your neighborhood, at your church, on your sports team, etc.
  • Make a monetary or in-kind donation
  • Assist with outreach and administrative tasks
  • Next time you host a party, ask guests to bring a book or school supply to donate instead of a gift
  • Spread the word about Community Education Partnerships to others
