Know Your Rights & Rapid Response Network information
- The Immigration Legal Resource Center has shared these important resources, available in 17 languages:
- Bay Area ICE Rapid Response Networks: Before sharing information about ICE’s location in your area, get it verified by calling the number below. When you call the SF hotline, SF Immigrant Legal & Education Network (SFILEN) physically goes and verifies if there is ICE activity happening or if there was a false alarm (SFILEN page in English and Spanish).

- ACLU NorCal Know Your Rights has information for knowing your rights in different scenarios (in hospitals, schools, airports, etc) and what to look for on a warrant (English).
- ACLU SoCal has a guide for how to verify, document, and report interactions with ICE with specific information about how to spot ICE impersonating police or probation officers (English and Spanish).

For SFUSD families and students:
- SFUSD is a sanctuary school district, meaning it is committed to standing up for immigrant communities and supporting immigrant students, families, and staff.
- Refugee and Immigrant Solidarity in Education (RISE-SF) operates SFUSD’s culturally and linguistically inclusive programs to increase access to education for all immigrant and refugee students. RISE-SF has shared these sanctuary resources in 7 different languages.
- Legal
- Immigration Center for Women and Children offers free self-help and immigration court information (English and Spanish).
- Justice & Diversity Center of the Bar Association of SF has created a powerpoint containing general and legal resources (languages options vary).
- SF Immigration Support offers general support with information about immigration screenings, citizenship, deportation counsel, detention counsel, green cards, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), asylum, DACA, Domestic Violence Victims (VAWA), crime victims (U visa), trafficking victims (T visa), and abused or neglected children (SIJS) (language options vary).
- Mental health and support groups
- La Clínica offers individual, family, group, and couples’ therapy, which may include focus on trauma-related conditions, family and intergenerational conflicts, as well as adjustment problems related to immigration. No one is turned away for lack of funds; La Clínica provides services at no fee, at low fees, and accepts insurances including Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, and Healthy Kids.
- Sana Sana offers youth mental health consultations.
- Casa Corazón offers parent support groups.
- Indígena Health and Wellness Collaborative offers health and well-being services, including mental health referrals, wellness promotions, and cultural events.
- RAMS offers adult mental health counseling and other supports for immigrant communities in SF.
- Hijas del Sol y Luna is La Raza Community Resource Center’s women’s support group that highlights cultural activities in their groups.
- Immigrant Rising offers multiple recurring wellness support groups for undocumented people.
- Mujeres Unidas y Activas offers support groups, counseling, referrals, and Grupo Mam, a support group and counseling program for Mam-speaking women.
